CVOR Essentials for Transit - Navigating Compliance and Community Safety

  • Date: June 23, 2025 | 1:00 - 3:00 PM EST
  • Location: Virtual via TEAMS

Every transit customer, at some point in their journey, is a pedestrian. Road safety initiatives including Vision Zero, Community Safety Zones and Automated Speed Enforcement are widely supported by Ontario transit agencies and their employees. At the same time, new regulations are impacting commercial carriers' CVOR and Overall Violation Rates (OVR), and must be understood and managed.

The OPTA HR/Ops Committee has launched a CVOR Working Group to support members who are actively working to improve safety by reducing collisions and convictions, while ensuring a safe fleet.

Join us on Monday June 23rd for the first CVOR Working Group meeting. This webinar is for: (1) OPTA Transit Agency Members and their Municipal peers (register as a guest); and (2) OPTA Business Members that hold a CVOR
