Topic Description

Sponsored by New Flyer, this session is in partnership with the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO) who share an objective of creating a more inclusive transportation sector both for employees and for customers.

Join us for a discussion with Keisha Campbell, the inaugural Chief of Diversity & Culture at the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC), who speaks about her experience in introducing the organization’s 10-Point Action Plan for Diversity and Inclusion. Hear from her about why diversity and inclusion need to be priorities for all of us as well as advice she has for others in the transportation sector. Moderated by Lindy Norris, Director of Marketing and Public Affairs with New Flyer, the session will touch on a number of topics including unpacking the 10 points in the TTC’s plan, the need for measurement and accountability in this area and actions that we can all take to help advance individuals from underrepresented groups in the sector.
