Join the OPTA EnAbling Change Subcommittee for the launch of a public education and courtesy campaign for conventional transit services.
The 5-Year review of the AODA Transportation Standards in 2018 included a recommendation for a public education and courtesy campaign for transit riders. A subcommittee of OPTA members have been working with McCorkindale Advertising and Design over the past year to develop creative that can be used by transit systems as part of a province-wide campaign.
The EnAbling Change Program is a transfer payment program administered by the Province that provides funds for strategic partnerships with industry/sector leaders to significantly improve accessibility for people with disabilities and promote compliance with Ontario’s accessibility standards.
