OPTA Procurement Committee Update - Meeting to Plan for OTE Strategic Procurement Session

Update:
Due to scheduling conflicts, the March 8th Procurement Committee meeting in Milton was cancelled. The meeting has been rescheduled for Tuesday March 21st from 9:30 - 12:00 noon. 

Agenda:
  1. TTC Piggybacking Clause – Input from Brampton Transit
  2. Review PTIF submission spreadsheets to understand types of projects and identify where opportunities exist for cooperative procurements (
  3. Plan for the OTE Strategic Procurement session
Background:
The OPTA Procurement Committee began in June 2016 and has had two conference calls.  The OPTA Board is very supportive of this new committee and believes that significant member benefits are possible by coordinating strategic procurements.  For this reason, an OTE session has been scheduled for Wednesday April 12, 2017 from 9:45-10:45.
